The Little Star has been getting lots of practice being put into the car, taxi'ing the Boy Wonderful somewhere, then being put back into her cot. After an excursion this afternoon to a bookstore to meet with a favourite author,
Mike Dooley, we came home for a quick snooze before heading out again to the International Women's Day celebrations at Kings Park.
Mum and daughter never made it to the celebrations. We had a girls party-for-two instead cuddling up in bed and catching up on some much-needed sleep.
Today I am thankful for the resources I have that enable me to take care of myself during this crucial time of new motherhood.
