Took Blaze for a walk to the dam today, but as I was standing at the kitchen window late this afternoon, noticed that there were kangaroos on the airstrip -- obviously I'd left a gate open somewhere. So, off we went again to chase them off...
Blaze was like the little bossman walking his land. He was totally at home with every inch of the walk. He even resisted chasing the kangaroos back into the bush (in which case I would have lost him for days). Walking back home again I noticed the setting sun was lighting up his blonde coat beautifully.
Today I am thankful for such a simple life (the type without Paris and Nicole, that is.)
