At last! After two years* of slog, my application to become a marriage celebrant is in the queue for processing. I find out whether I can call myself a celebrant on 4 July... (I already have the business name worked out: "
BlessYou" - catchy huh?)
* Two years is made up of (in approximately equal measure):
-- the actual coursework and assessment,
-- putting together the application to the Attorney-General's Dept, and
-- procrastination
Today I am thankful for how things turn out -- had I applied last year I wouldn't have been able to go into practice for several months and I would have lost my license.
