April 26: Happy Families

We received a spontaneous dinner invite this evening. Yay! I've known this happy family for over 7 years - they were the first family I got to know when I moved to WA. In fact, the "baby" of the family was literally just a baby when I first met them. Now their oldest is 11 - the same age that Boy Wonderful was when Gavstar came into our lives.

Today I am thankful that BW was an easy-going 11-year-old, open to forming new bonds that will last him a lifetime. I'm also thankful that he is still like this as a 14-year-old!
