It's never too early to start preparing for this year's annual bonfire. Blaze kindly inspected some of the old pruned bits and pieces that I threw out to mark the start of our new heap.
If you had to define your region as one colour, what would it be? This colour green is the colour I associate with the South West of Western Australia. Our farm is situated on the Wilyabrup loam (the soil type identified by Di Cullen as the reason for the fabulous Margaret River wines). I suspect this soil also contributes to this intense and beautiful green prevalent across the paddocks at this time.
Today I am thankful for the rich colours available to me right now.
