"The girls" went for coffee this morning and enjoyed a good chat over a soy flat white. It was good for a while, then disaster...
It must be something about this particular cafe. Last time I was here (on
Gavstar's birthday) the Little Star messed everywhere at the precise moment I'd taken her old nappie off. It went over her clothes, over the three bunny rugs in her pram, and all over my hands. On that occasion I had to put EVERYTHING in a double plastic bag and hide it at the bottom of her pram carrier.
This time, she wet so much it leaked out of her nappie and through both suits I'd dressed her in. Sadly, I wasn't carrying any spare suits so I had to wrap her in her bunny rug and hang the wet suits on the back of the chair to dry. Waiting for clothes to dry in the sun made for a verrrryyyyyy long breakfast.
Anyhoo... how can one complain when a lovely day ends in a stunning sunset? This one drew me outside to take photos (and lots of them!) I knew I was a writer when I imagined each photo on the cover of another book. I must have come up with a dozen titles for a book about inspiration, living a fulfilling life, seeing wonder in little things... In the end I think I'll call such a book "
Love and Blissings" (per one of my standard signatures). I loved this title so much I registered the domain name in anticipation for the book that will manifest one day!
Today I am thankful for EVERYTHING!
