May 5: Chick Magnet

Joined the Esperance family for lunch today in Kings Park - Will has just returned from America after visiting a love interest he met during Vaughan's wedding in December. The Little Star got passed around as usual, this time getting to know her big cousin Jess and Uncle Rob.

After lunch, Gavstar took the LS off to change her nappy. I glanced up at one stage to find him surrounded by women.

"What is it about a man and a baby that attracts women?!" I asked him when he got back.

"Yeah, she's a chick magnet!" he confirmed. "Don't worry though, they asked if she was my grand-daughter."

Today I am thankful Gavstar is realistic that, being an older dad, he's going to get questions like that occasionally.
