May 10: Pseudo Big Sister

Visited an old friend of Gavstar's today. She opened the door with her little one-year-old clinging to her knees - last time we saw her he was a newborn!

Gavstar looks his friend up and down and comes out with the all-time classic clanger: "You didn't tell me you were pregnant!" he says.

Needless to say, there was a ghastly silence for a horrid moment.

Today I am thankful Gavstar's friends have a sense of humour!
