May 18: Plane Damage

Gavstar's plane crashed Sunday two weeks ago, while on charter in Geraldton. It arrived back in Perth on Friday - in fact, it limped over the top of us as we were driving through Fremantle on Friday afternoon! Gavstar could tell it was his plane because it was putt-putting along with its wheels down.

After a sleep-in, a lazy long breakfast, and a confusing visit to the Bon Scott exhibition at the Freo Art Gallery, we headed home via the airport to check on the plane. Gavstar was a bit amused to find bits of the engine being held together by cable-ties.

Today I am thankful I put my foot down and wouldn't let my hero (saint!) fly this injured puppy home.
