June 29 - July 5: Idyll Life

2008.06.29
June 29: Gavstar had 5 minutes to spare so jumped on the tractor to clear some waist-high grass. Pity the phone calls stretched it into a 30 minute job.

June 30: Oh no, I can hear it now... baby when she is two-years-old: "I do it!!"

July 1: Judging by the mist on the paddocks this morning, winter is well and truly setting in.

July 2: The frog from May is still hanging around. Sometimes he's at the back door, sometimes at the front, sometimes sunning himself on the west veranda... today I worked how it was moving about the place.

July 3: Oooooh my little girl is growing up! She played with her first doll today!

July 4: There is a property nearby that Gavstar is coveting. However when we went to suss it out, the sign warned us that the dogs would chew us to death and the owners would bury the left-overs. Charming! We might leave THAT bit out of our manifestation bubble...

July 5: Baby seemed a bit bored doing the same ol' same ol' rolling practice on her mat (not there yet), so I took her outside to experience grass. Blaze thought I was throwing him a chew toy perhaps?

.
Another idyllic week at the farm. I feel so blessed! This week I have learned such things as:

* It might only take 5 minutes to mow a patch of wild lawn, but this can blow out to 30 if you carry your mobile phone with you;
* Babies know their own mind from very early on;
* There is as much beauty in the shadows as there is in the light;
* Sometimes dogs need dummies too;
* It's never too early to play with dolls;
* There is no limit to what you can put in your manifestation bubble;
* Playing in long grass is fun!
