July 20: We planted some NZ Xmas Trees around the place. The idea is to screen the buildings from the road, but I have a feeling we're gonna be sorry about these ones...

July 21: I can always tell when Gavstar has swung by for some lunch -- there is general devastation left behind in the kitchen.

July 22: I've reached the end of my 21-Day Wii Fit Challenge. According to this, I'm still overweight (although I feel fine), but at least my Wii Fit age is 28. Wooo hoooo.

July 24: Noticed some major earthworks on our walk today. After some investigation I discovered the South Perth council is building some beaches along the river front. Yay!

I have a feeling that we might regret some of the jobs we did around the farm this week... the New Zealand Xmas Trees we planted are like babies -- they look pretty while they're little but you should see 'em when they're grown up! ;-)
This week I learned such things as:
* Planting trees is easy when you have a man to dig the holes
* Only keep old bread in the fridge because it's not going to get eaten anyway
* Wii Fit is fairy-floss fitness
* One can bear any pain providing there is an end in sight
* It's encouraging to see some city councils thinking ahead
* All boys are softies at heart
* A cushion is a handy stand-in for a lover (as taught by my dog)
