.
This week we celebrated the Little Star's 6-month birthday, her first jump in the jolly jumper, her first tooth, her first time facing forwards in the car seat and ALMOST her first roll-over.
Seeing her list of "firsts" makes my first effort on a ride-on mower seem a little pathetic really...
This week I learned things such as:
* Give kids a grassy knoll and it brings a whole new meaning to the Jack and Jill nursery rhyme;
* Babies stop being babies when they can look out of a car window;
* The definition of "hope" is experienced when applying an "Aliveline" (instead of a "deadline") to a years-old project;
* To experience joy, remember what it was like to roll over for the first time;
* Skipping is fun!
* Breast-feeding is not forever (although some days it may feel like it);
* Even innocent looking machines have an evil side.
