Sept 28: It's been a looooong time since we went out for a posh lunch. Ended up back at Lamonts (hey it's becoming a bi-annual event!) Loved that they had room where we could park the pram where the Little Star stayed fascinated with her dummy for around an hour!

Oct 2: The sun came out again in time for me to go on a 12km walk around the bridges. Passed a couple on an interesting bike... he was serenading her with a ukulele, and she was accompanying him with a horn. Very romantic.

Oct 3: A dolphin ducked out of shot as I aimed the camera. According to Scott King "Dolphin speaks of higher levels of wisdom, meditation, sacred breathe, freedom from anxiety, spiritual communication, dreaming, healing, psychic connection, birth and rebirth." Yep, works for me.

Oct 4: When I moved to Western Australia almost eight years ago, a beautiful family took me in as a xmas orphan. I ended up marrying into their family... I just hope the Gavstar and I can enjoy 50 years together just as his aunty and uncle have.

Another fabulous week in my life. Dang I love my life! This week I learned stuff such as:
* Restaurants with room for prams deserve an extra star
* No regrets, but I wish I'd given baby more sitting practice earlier!
* A bonfire will burn anything apart from a kitchen sink
* Cricket doesn't always = "summer"
* There is magic to be found around every corner
* Mother Nature's messages are all around, all the time
* Happiness is a couple still in love after 50 years of marriage
