April 7 - 11: Dreams manifesting under the full moon

2009.04.07
April 7: Gavstar is BESIDE HIMSELF with excitement to see work start on the airstrip extension. Took this while riding my borrowed bike around the paddocks with the Little Star on board - the pram got a flat!

April 8: Went grocery shopping today for party supplies for Gavstar's upcoming 50th. Dropped a lazy $900 on basic supplies only...

April 9: There are some days procrastination should be my middle name. Instead of working full-time on completing The Goddess DIET, I pulled out a years-old art project and finished that instead. Made a clock from a seguin-moreau wine barrel lid, with a "wine" positioned at the 5 o'clock position to represent "wine o'clock". To add some layers to the story, I put a long stroke on the big hand and a dot on the little one, so at 5-to-5 it looks like an exclamation mark. That way at 4.55 pm every day, we can GET EXCITED ABOUT WINE O'CLOCK !!!!

April 10: The most amazing full moon caught me by surprise this evening. I was on Janet's porch when I noticed it rising above the horizon. It stopped me in my tracks, it was just gorgeous. It felt so close I could touch it, perhaps to resolve cheese question forever.

April 11: Joined the girls and their kids for a lazy lunch at a local brewery today. They got busy posing, asking the nearest single dude to hold the camera. Very funny.

About two years ago Gavstar and I put together a five-year plan: to build an airstrip and chalets on the farm to create a fly-in holiday destination. This week, we achieved our first step in making this happen: the work started on extending the air strip and gravelling it. yay! Another highlight this week was the full moon - it was HUGE when it rose on the horizon, and jaw-droppingly beautiful.
