May 20 - 24: Two years of gratitude

2009.05.20
May 20: Now that my book is in the hands of the distributor and is set to hit bookstores all around the country, it gave me a bit of space to get back to creating... Today I was guided to blend the "Natural Healer" vibrational essence for the Goddess-ence range.

May 21: We've had a phenomenally long summer, but it came to an abrupt end today with torrential rain and such strong winds that my car was trapped in the back yard – the gales slammed and jammed the gate shut permanently. I still consider myself lucky though – at least I'm not in Lismore where the people are being evacuated due to the flooding. Spent a lot of time today praying for my friends who were threatened by the Victorian bushfires earlier this year, and now the Lismore floods today.

May 22: It was a looooong drive down south today. Staying focussed on the road while battling the driving rain and sporadic gales totally exhausted me. The remedy? A steak at the Club!

May 23: Gavstar took a reconnaissance flight (any excuse!) over the farm to ensure his windsock is going to be in the right place. (That's him, the speck at the right-top-ish of the shot.) The Little Star is beginning to recognise the plane and associates it with her Daddy, Daddy, Daddy.

May 24: Gavstar realised a dream today when he erected his first, real, you-beaut windsock at the farm. It's just one step closer to achieving the five-year plan of a fly-in resort at the farm.

And herewith is the final photo in another year of my Daily Blissings project. I can't think of anything more fitting than an image of a small step towards a large dream :-)

-----------------

Life rolls on, as it does, and as it did this week when I took my 731st photo of something I'm grateful for. That 731st photo marks the two-year anniversary of my Daily Blissings project – a project that challenges me to take a photo every day of something that makes me go weeeeeee!
