July 1: New month, new financial year, new spark of energy for the Little Star. Enough even, to sit on the swings for a little bit. Is it obvious that we played "Beauty Salon" today? I'm spewing - I was able to give Cousins Beauty and Yeeesss fantastic haircuts, but for some reason I just can't stop doing the pudding bowl for the LS.

July 2: In what seems like days and days, we made our first outing today, meeting a friend for lunch, followed by a yummy bummy ice-cream from Shlix. When I was in Brisbane at five-months pregnant, I totally stalked this place, so it was pretty fantastic to find it again today.

I'm going to have to put the Little Star in daycare or something to expose her to some bugs - she got really sick this week from being around new kids and their daycare bugs. The doctor said she had a river of pus running down the back of her nose and throat. Poor little love, had a terrible time sleeping, and was so lethargic she actually stayed on the couch where I put her during the day.
