Sept 1 - 5: Happy new spring!

Sept 1: I love the warm weather so much I made a conscious trip to an al fresco cafe for my morning brew, (and Little Star's chocolate). Although I shivered my way through the experience, at least the ritual will hopefully bring warm weather our way quickly!

Sept 2: Celebrated the start of Spring with a visit to Heathcote park with cuz Chris, J and the kids. I only discovered this place a couple of months back, by mistake... I'm still wondering how many other secrets Perth is keeping. Chris and J spent the week helping cuz Matt set up his new home. Matt's question still has me laughing, "I understand a peg bag, but what's a bag bag and why do I need one?" (Jenny told him he must have a bag bag for all his plastic bags, and that he won't attract a wife unless his bachelor pad is in order.)

Sept 3: Brother Kev and his crew arrived this morning for a three week vacation. Took full advantage of the trolley to cart all sorts of luggage.

Sept 4: Back to Heathcote park to wear the kids out. In theory it should help them acclimatise to the new time zone.

Happy new year! It's the first day of spring, when we enter a time to stretch, yawn, awaken, reach upward, outward, flex and gravitate to the light. Amen to that! Had a ball visiting playgrounds with family, the Perth Zoo, and generally stretching the limbs outside again.
