Sept 21 - 25: New freeway opens

Sept 21: It was a party car when we hit the new freeway this afternoon - wooo hoooooooooo!

Sept 22: Brother Kev's last night in Perth so we went back to the local Italian restaurant for a family get together. Had to laugh at Big Sis and Gavstar's automatic reflex to open their mouths wide to encourage the Little Star.

Sept 23: After Playgroup we had a little extra bonus time at the nearby playground. The Little Star is beginning to recognise a playground from a distance and literally bolts for them.

Sept 24: What a score!

Sept 25: When Boy Wonderful was little he used to poke his head around the corner of the airport concourse a dozen times before he finally boarded the plane. For old times' sake he did the cheeky manoeuvre today too.

After many years of wishing and praying, the new Perth - Bunbury freeway was opened this week. It's supposed to cut 30 minutes off the travelling time.
