Boardwalk over the sand so the dunes are disturbed as little as possible.

Let's walk north toward Sleeping Bear Dune... we had the place to ourselves.

Beautiful pictures. My husband took the kids to Sleeping Bear dunes two years ago. He recognized the pictures. He figures you are near Traverse City. We love to go to the dunes at Sturgeon Bay and hang on the beach after climbing the dunes. Your pics bring back good memories.

Oh you've made me homesick!! I so miss uncrowded beaches and Lake Michigan is my most favorite lake. So beautiful and clear. We use to tease our Wisconsin friends that we Michiganders got the sunsets and they had to get up early to catch a nice sunrise ;)

Beautiful Set, looks like a real secluded place to walk, no idea about the tracks I was thinking about a whole lot of differnt animals, but I don't think none of them are in your area :)

Those tracks are interesting. I sure don't know. Looks like leaves on a vine. I like the little boy and his dad in the last one. How long did it take them to make it up?

Great shots! The tracks look like some kind of lizard. Somewhere in the 20,000 photos on my hard drive is one of a marine iguana's tracks in the sand on one of the Galapagos islands, and it looks a lot like your photo. Anyway, it's a great shot, those tracks make a great pattern.
