Poppies and Puppies

2008.04.25

I need some advice on the last one. It's a project I'm doing for school, the topic is Nature Deficit Disorder. I have to figure out a title, something that evokes sadness, worry, fear, loss, nostalgia, and makes the viewer think.
Some slight possibilities so far are:
"Last Plant in the City."
"Got Nature?"
"Where's Your Nature?"
"Find Your Nature"
"2120: Nature Preserve"
"Is This the Future?"
Or something that involves de-stress, revitalization and nostalgia.

Any advice whatsoever would be wonderful.
Thanks.

Amethyst "Last Plant in the City" gets my vote. Definitely. =) That shot is so perfect for what it seems you're trying to portray. The vast expanse of pavement, the one single, small infant with an even smaller, tiny yellow flower -- the only spec of color and life in the whole frame -- seems so desolate and certainly evokes fear, loss, etc. Especially with the title "Last Plant in the City."

The poppies look outstanding. That focus is just amazing, jeeze!
