What a story, Dragana. I am so happy for you that you have now some of your old photos. I perfectly understand it for I experienced the same, and now finding a way to get some of those old memories.

Thanks a lot for sharing this with us. I first noticed the proccupied look on the woman's face and the funny eyes and smile of the beautiful little girl (you ; )... Then I red your story and came back to the photo. It reached me much more the second time. The look on the woman's face meant a lot. And your apparent happiness explained, maybe, by the great time you were having looking at these photographs with your grandmother. This is a little but marvellous lesson on the power of photography.

Cute Photo! You almost appear to be related to Olga Korbet or Nadia Comaniche. (I like gymnastics! My little JOY -4 1/2 yrs.- has been taking since she was two.) I do hope that you like these ladies, and that my comment is taken as a compliment. (If not, then I'm sorry...It's just that these ladies were influential in my enjoyment of the Olympics as a teenager.) :)
