Don't you find the black birds inviting? I am attracted to them very much. I think I would've stayed there for hours waiting for one to stop and stand on her shoulder! ;-) These 3 photos are superbly grey and sad. I particularly love the last two (especially the bird in the last one -well caught!-)

The first image at closer focus is archetypal and transcendant, but to see the same statue standing amid power lines, poles, and neighborhood fences brings her down to earth -- to the people who seek her. Which is as it should be for a ministering spirit, I think.

I really like the third shot, it's quite unusual and evokes a strange "mood". That you caught the black bird "wings down" there with the Madonna amongst the power lines, etc. is perfect. Nice!
