Wedding Dress

2008.08.01
The beginning of the Portrait of A Wife

Mine was gray. Bought it in the second hand shop. Costed me a good penny. Someone else wore it 60 years ago. How did their life pan out?

This song by Mark Lanegan "Wedding Dress" made me put this blog up.

From the Portrait of A Wife

stormfish there is a lot of failure in beauty. there is no beauty in failure.

ThomasChu Stylish shot! Cool !

dae88 a soulmate-to-soulmate test (of resiliency?)... in this set, #2 is just noise and should be discarded. #3 is very strong, although too much drama for my taste, but needs to be placed in a context other than this set. #1 is without question amazing and deserves to stand on its own.

pollak cold tones you are alone in a world that remains closed to you, always searching for the right key, maybe photography is one of those key, it opens different realities, different you in different facts. where are you more real? you cannot tell. and it doesn't matter anymore. you seem lost in your own maze in searching for the door out. maybe there's no way out. or maybe this way out is through.

this is what your photos told me. and maybe i'm wrong, giving them my interpretation, it really doesn't matter, this is the freedom of photography, i made you a character in my story :)

Helen I would be very interested to see the other side of this photographic conversation.

dae88 I just watched the Mark Lanegan "Wedding Dress" video. First impression... he looks like a cross between Jim Morrison and Bryan Ferry and he sings like Kris Kristoferson
dae88 · 2008-08-19: 22:22
thebaz i love that song by Mark Lanegan -
maybe another one of my aims for 2009 should be to do a wedding -
