oh no, you didn't say 'excuse me, what do you mean by that...', you first laughed, then turned towards the window, wiggled on your chair and without any embarrassment replied you didn't say you were great but just too intense about your photographs to be able to edit them down. I remember, I am sitting right opposite :) And yes, he loved the way your eye works. What a historic photograph! Looks like 1970's :)

the photo has an iconic appeal to it. you should be proud of yourself, that you could look at it as constructive. did you cry?

Yikes! I stopped breathing for a second there at the thought of it. Hopefully you got a lot out of it. It must have been interesting at best. :)

Such an unusual setting for us to see you in... Mr. Parr seems to be the only comfortable person in the room.

I guess its always interesting to get others views - but it can be painful! I know that only too well in my own life!

It seems that it wasn't too painful and that you did take something good from the experience! : )

There is a Swazi saying: "a single hand cannot wash itself". We can all learn and improve and you are on this journey. Good one. Personally I do not believe that a true teacher would ever dress down a student in front of their colleagues. Sounds more of an ego trip, but then I wasn't there and didn't hear him.

the thing with teacher is we all have to overcome them. and the thing that makes them suffer the most is that they know.
