Accept the "blisses of the commonplace" means to unexist for artists when they look at another one. Even if to create they need to live in the commonplace, to smell it, to touch it. Then their product tell their cries. Artistly thoughts.

Some artists probably do fall into this category. But I think there are many artists, who realize they are not as rare as they would hope, and that almost nothing is truly original.

Yes and no... does a realist ever a true artist make? Whether we all live in a glass cage or not, sometimes like Sexton herself, there is simply no other place to flee to. But I being an eternal pragmatist... what do I know about art? ps. oh and a brilliant picture btw
