At least you never have to smile when you don't want to. I will never forget the time my family went to this really sad circus. The clown there had smile a painted on his face, but it was clear he was not happy. He smelled like alcohol, and he cursed and yelled at all of the people there. Eventually I saw him sitting alone in a corner of the tent. I think I was about 10 years old and still remember it.

I find most types of clowns and the general popular appearance of clowns KITSCH and VULGAR! But the photo is good!

I always did and still do find them a litle bit scarey, and this one is no exception, I like the shot though and the way he appears to be bursting through the torn paper.

Childhood demons get lured out... clowns are by default too creepy, a cross between a psycho killer and a drag queen - all for the entrainment of children. Whoever came up with the idea... Your photograph is both scary and worn-out, as the whole concept. Great representation. Great job, Dragana!

I was a clown for awhile in high school. We traveled to churches and put on skits to music.

Interesting shot - I like the distressed feel. But I don't really like clowns - they either seem sad or scary.
