Yes, you can fight it by making art of it. I was never brave enough to tell unknown people that they shouldn't just drop trash on the street but there was a period when I picked up every single piece of rubbish in the street and actually there were people who got ashamed when they realized what I was doing. I love the project. I have the same disgusted feeling as you when someone just throws trash down without a second thought. I think I might be inclined to take their photo perhaps to shame them...although they probably wouldn't even notice. A very interesting contrast between Croatia and Ireland. Like I said, I love the project. The ice cream is still a big winner with me. As is the glove. Wow, that's a lot of work you've put into that; and a lot of waste. The dead bird reminded me of an odd occurance that happened to me one day at about Christmas time.
