oh, so THIS is how it's done! because i never understood that "proving to be a man" thing myself... maybe i still have to do it myself, go and catch a fish.

Love this optimistic continuation... shooting a fish with an arrow! never saw something like that :-) Once every young boy gets the chance to prove his is a man, or will be... some do, others dont. and I think it follows them through their entire lives. love the shot with the seastars; poor guys, what a horrible and slow death! my mother was always upset when we collected and dried them - they stink badly -; still got some back home from Croatia... fortunately after 20 years they dont stink anymore :-)

Very cool continuation of the other post. It is amazing that he caught that fish using a little bow and arrow! That looks like a beautiful place too. The water is so clear. Thanks for this post.

#2 is a great shot. If only proving your self to be a man was so simple. I'm going through the mill at the moment with my 14 year old who is out to prove himself - everything becomes a challenge. I look forward to the day (which will be soon I think) when he is better than me at everything, so perhaps we can have a rest.
