Looks like it would fit into "such a waste" pretty well. He's pretty messed up...

"Death is always on the way, but the fact that you don't know when it will arrive seems to take away from the finiteness of life. It's that terrible precision that we hate so much. But because we don't know, we get to think of life as an inexhaustible well. Yet everything happens a certain number of times, and a very small number, really. How many more times will you remember a certain afternoon of your childhood, some afternoon that's so deeply a part of your being that you can't even conceive of your life without it? Perhaps four or five times more. Perhaps not even. How many more times will you watch the full moon rise? Perhaps twenty. And yet it all seems limitless." Paul Bowles El cIElO prOtEctOr

very good shot. I think the bird had to be quite beautiful when it was still alive. I mean, look at those feathers. and there is a message... really good shot.

Good addition to your project. Evidence of the food chain. But the food is wasted.

I can't stop thinking at what it is wrote in his leg ring. there's a whole discusion here: what that pidgeon was? a spy? a love messenger? maybe somebody blackmailing somebody, or threating somebody ... who killed him? an accident? a rough revenge? is somebody sad if the mail don't come? or not? hmm, hmm

Harry looks as though he met a very violent death. Nothing like finding dead birds as a child is there?! It ignites such excitement and curiosity.

poor kids... though everyone has to be confronted with death once. i remember the first time I was... a cat badly overdriven by a truck. never forget that picture.
