The Holiday That Never Happened
The summer of 2007: The Holiday That Never Happened.
I came home that summer to have an argument with my father, to find out about past secrets that I never wanted to know, to witness my dearest friend going through something traumatic, to listen to some more ignorant hateful trash on the streets of that country that I run away from but seem like always coming back to. My dear friends, locked into their mid thirties, the funny old age when you get pimples together with wrinkles. Our faces and bodies showing the first signs of all those parties, of all of those unfulfilled dreams. How could it ever be as good as you hoped it to be? I looked at the young girls and boys and thought of how lucky they are to have it all still in front of them, still not fully developed, they bodies and minds still growing, while ours are accelerating in the opposite direction.

I decided to do this blog to keep 'an eye' on what I am doing, or how I am doing. Before I start posting some new work, I wanted to show first what i have I worked on for the past year or so.
