Trebarwith Strand, North Cornwall. Used to go with my parents when I was about 15. There was an Hotel right next to the beach and I was always begging my Dad to stay there. Too Expensive he said. When I was 26 I came to stay in it for a few days on my own. The Weather was scorching. On my last day one of the owners said, after I'd sighed a big say and said "I wish I could stay longer" "Well you can" He offered me a job. I took it and spent the next 4 months living there. Still friends with Him. It was an amazing time. Nobody wore shoes, not even to wait the tables. Weather was CRAP(mostly) though.... I dream about the place still |
