Hi, I am a photographer. In the previous lifetime I used to be a psychologist (really a crap one). When I decided that I am a much better observer than a listener I changed careers. Nothing really in this life makes me happier then pottering around with my camera. I know this would sound strange to some people, but I thought about it for a long time and this is the conclusion I came up with.
I am really bad with expressing myself verbally ... I mean writing back comments in other people's blogs. Not because I am self-centered, I will give a compliment/comment when I really feel is due. I do not care about the technique, the 'perfect composition' or the tonal values. I do not care about the subject matter. Nothing of this is important except transmitting what is the most important thing when it comes to any art form - the emotion.

Thanks, it was the moon when I opened the shutter, but it drifted behind clouds before I was done.

thanks, I just sent him your message.... I may have already told him (old age = bad memory!) It's still a year and a half away. :-)

it's good, because you see the reluctance in his demeanor
your comment sent me off into a mini revelation about society and it's expectations about how we appear and behave and that it seems to me that we are all striving to become what is expected, as in; confident ,relaxed, witty, all that and because that might not necessarily be who we are we fail and feel it... obviously can't speak for the whole world here but lying in bed between sleep and the world it all seemed so clear. God sorry, hardly any punctuation..... and thanks ...

I remember hurling from its infrequent appearances on ABC's Wide World of Sports back in the '60s. Lacrosse is probably the most similar North American sport, though hurling does look somewhat like field hockey on speed.

i think I want your job ... you seem to be surrounded with music
this time of year for sure--weather is OK...will be very hot in a few more days. Still, Louisianans love their music...one of the highlights of living here.
