In addition to my blog for the 19th September, and although you are not allowed to photograph inside St Paul's Cathedral, these two pictures were taken from the roof of the dome looking down through a spyhole that is situated on the floor covered with glass.

I buffed the glass to remove all the finger marks and placed my camera lens as close to it and snapped.

Whilst not perfect, you at least get an idea of the height of the dome of the Cathedral and the space below it for worship.
