100th Post - Britney Spears in 2000

Not so long ago, Britney Spears was at the top of her game. These shots were taken on her "Oops! I did it again!" tour. She was playing the NEC in Birmingham, England and my mate got us front row tickets!

Whatever you want to say about Ms Spears (and at the time there was a helluva lot to say) now or then - the one thing I did take away from the gig apart from the pictures was this - you couldnt fault the energy and drive being put into the performance.

I actually came away with admiration for the girl. Since, she has been married twice and had a family. Her career seems to be at a crossroads and I for one am sad that we now hear about her personal life in the news for all the wrong reasons.

I look forward to a time when things are more positive for her again. I would love to see her turn it all around.
