Flat Iron Building, New York

Probably the coolest looking building in New York, especially when you stand right underneath it and admire the sharp point of the front of the building.

Always featured in any New York film, most recently in the Spiderman films as the workplace of Peter Parker, it has a long history and often photographed.

Fave story on the tour I was on - years ago, guys used to stand nearby and watch as the wind would whip past the building and blow up girls skirts (the building creating something of a wind tunnel due to it's shape!) - not sure why this has now stopped!
