My final shot from my New York pictures. One of the most famous hotels in New York, couldn't resist stepping through the revolving door and walking into the place.
Amazingly, back in June 2001 when I was there, it had a branch of WHSmith located inside as well as a beautiful grand piano, elegant chandelier and of course the centre clock with faces of former US Presidents and Queen Victoria carved into the stand. Standing there, inside, a little bit of England hit home when the clock chimed with the distinctive Westminister Chimes that I would usually hear from Big Ben in London!
This shot, like all the others from New York was a full frame shot taken on print film and I have then scanned the original photograph.
At some point in the future I would love to go back to New York for a third time to see what becomes of the area where the World Trade Centre had once stood and to extend my photographic adventures around my fave city - only this time - in digital format!
