In November last year, I was required to attend a work "get together" outlining the year that has already gone and stuff planned for the next twelve months.
It was tedious, long and there were times I actually found myself concentrating.
However, when we were released for lunch I went and explored the fab hotel where we were all located and it is the tallest building in Manchester and has a great observation floor near the top.
These shots were taken on my mobile phone through glass windows - but even so, give you an interesting view of the Manchester skyline.

i never been to manchester, but i see i have to go there :)) i love the building on the left on #2. u have to tell me what building is this exactly :) the one u made those pictures from :)))
Ive just googled it - it was the Hilton in Manchester located near Deansgate Railway station and an AMC Cinema!! Dead easy to find - just look up, its the tallest blooming thing for miles! You cant just wander in and up to the 20-odd floor observation floor though - I do think you either have to be a guest or at least be at the hotel for a particular reason.
