Lincoln

After a night out at the cinema watching National Treasure 2, I thought this may be a suitable post - those that have seen the film will know the story begins with the assasination of Lincoln.

Back in 2006 I went to Washington DC in April and I must say that the Lincoln memorial was probably the highlight of the city for me. Completely relaxing sitting on those steps and watching the world pass me by.

It is also a huge and monumental tribute to the President who changed so much about the United States.

I will be posting other shots from my vist to the memorial in days to come.
