Raven

Again, following on from earlier posts recently taken at the Tower of London - this was shot at the same time.

Crouching down in front of one of the Ravens at the Tower of London, I quickly took this shot. The damn thing was squarking and crowing to it's friends and I didn't realise another was coming up behind me!

You are not supposed to touch them or reach out to them as they will peck and go for you.

Of course, there is a legend that goes with these particular Ravens at the Tower of London....

.... Legend has it that Charles II was told that if the ravens left the Tower, the kingdom and the fortress would fall. To prevent this the Ravens have their wings clipped!
