At the top of St Paul's Cathedral I found this graffitti.
I'm not one for saying that graffitti should not be allowed - sometimes it actually can be artistic, and sometimes even add some interest to otherwise dull journeys on trains! BUT I do draw the line on buildings of significant historical interest or worship being defaced like this.
Patrick, who cares if you were here? I was too and chose to record my time in a way that would not offend anyone else and furthermore will not mean someone else has to "remove" my being there.
In Birmingham, where I work, I have to walk past Birmingham Cathedral which is home to a multitude of young people skateboarding, rollerblading and sitting around on top of graves. Added to this the Catherdal itself has recently had a clean to remove graffitti from it.
So, this is not just something that affects London sadly.
Didn't want to use photoblog as a soap box to have a rant - but feel quite strongly about this particular subject! Am I alone?
