The way the light was coming through the clouds was beautiful. But sort of left it a bit dark on the city.

Looks like a good size town, but it only has a population of 1200.

The Imnaha Tavern was built 1901. The interior is still pretty much the same today as it was then. Very rustic, and a long time gathering of trivia and stuck on the walls. This place is for sale, but it's been on sale a long time.

The thing is, reason it has been for sale for a long time is that the population of this town is 26 when everyone is home. So even though you can make a living here, you won't get rich. Takes a special person that just loves this area enough to want to buy in.

Bar was the first scene, and on the right side, and rear of the building is the store portion. As you can see there are wooden booths and tables, it is also a resturant and they cook pretty good food here, especially the first Thursday of the Month.

See the grafettie on the ceiling? It's loaded with them, 1 dollar bills. When the tavern sells, there are names on the bills and all the people who sling shot them up there will be invited for one HUGE PARTY. There must be 2,000 of them there.....

The Bartender, Cook, Waitress and bottle washer all in one. A very nice lady as about only what the country brings out of people here. No hassles, no fuss.

Today the weather was 50 and a nice day, so we went to town, and this time since the snow was clear, I was able to go up on the hill and get a over all view of Enterprise. It was amazing how big it looks and yet, only has a population of 1200. On the way home we stopped at the tavern/store which resides in the town of Imanah, only 24 miles away. The building was constructed in 1901, and pretty much is the same today. I've shown outside shots previously here, so this is indoor shots. I saw the profile of the lady that works there, and though she'd make a good computer sketch also. So I tried that. Not much to do yet, here, as still have 1 1/2 foot of snow on the ground.

What a nice set, lots of towns in Eastern Oregon look about the same, I may have gone thru that town before but not sure. Looks like a neat old bar, if I take a trip that way I am going to have to stop in there. Thanks for sharing Eddie
the panorama looks great, and it would be great to see full size. I love the sky in the second picture, and seeing the inside of the tavern makes a fun ending on this series.
