....I've found a place that would amaze you. People used to live there, but now it's all overgrown and no one goes there. Absolutely no one - only me... Just a little house and a garden. And two dogs. (Karel Čapek)


Karel Čapek is one of my favourite writers. I grew up with his fairy tales and stories, he was the one who taught me how beautiful Czech language is.
This is the place, where he spend the last three years of his life...in a sense he was lucky, because he died before the Nazis were able to kill him...his brother Josef died in a concetration camp in the last days of war.
