Beware! Once you taste this delicious homemade müsli, there is no way back to the store bought stuff:)

It is really tasty and so easy to prepare I am almost ashamed to add it to my recipe box, but here it is:

In a large baking dish put 4 cups of rolled oats, 1/2 cup of sunflower seeds, 1/2 cup of pumpkin seeds, and almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts or any nuts you have. Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons vegetable oil and 3 table spoons apple juice. Mix everything together and bake at low temperature (160 degrees Celsius) for about 20 minutes mixing once. Remove from the oven and add dried fruits: I used dried cherries, strawberried, sultanas and raisins. When cooled add chocolate chips .
You can store it for about 3 - 4 weeks - but it never lasts so long in our house:)

I love to eat it with fresh fruit for my breakfast - you can add joghurt or sour cream, too:)
