Perfect Coffee Cake with Mascarpone Frosting
200 g butter
200 g sugar (150 granulated, 50 g brown sugar)
300 g flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
100 ml strong coffee
Beat butter and sugar for about 3 -5 minutes
add flour, baking powder and eggs at one go and beat well again, add coffee and mix well .
Divide into 2 pans and bake for about 20 minutes.

combine mascarpone with a little sugar and a 2 tablespoons of coffee
