How many years had passed since I heard his voice for the last time? 27..28...I was never good at math. He helped me with my homework, with a patience of a saint, never gave up on me, always tried again and again to teach me...never punished, always praised.
He taught me so much, no math - I was a hopeless case, but about unconditional love .
Still miss him. His warm smile, his voice, his sense of humour.
I sometimes imagine him playing chess with the angels...he lets them win, with a twinkle in his eyes.... My dad.
