1 day at shore, 10 years at sea... Depends on the day...

I spent the last weekend in Crikvenica, a small town by the sea. Quite charming. anf for many reasons I felt enchanted for three days... ;)

The place and the sea reminded me on the Pirates of the Caribbean. And the company... that sometimes a day and its enchantment may outlast ten years and lend strenght to live a lifetime without regrets.

I adore the sea, I think it is the one thing in the world that can never corrupt the soul. I fell in love with the stars in the sea long ago...

The daytime was quite exhausting, too much errands to run and work to attend to. Alongside this, I twisted my anckle and limped most of Saturday and Sunday. But there was nothing that could make me forfeit a walk on the beach. The weather was rainy and grey and I got rainswept four times. I did not mind it, however. During the sunny intervals I was of course running errands.

The sea is pretty cold, but I welcomed its coolness while healing my anckle in its mere. That was the moment when I took the first picture... with the gulls. They were quite restless that evening, because someone had to keep scaring them anon and anon. They got their excercise, anyhow.

I was woken by the sun on Sunday... it did not last long, the clouds soon came... but the smile upon my face was impossible to forfeit...
