It was the shadow that I was drawn too...those lean, long arms; so graceful.

Great dance photos. You captured the poetry of it all very beautifully, especially on the 1st shot.

#4 seems of another era. I love how her arms emerge from the darkness and the lower part of her body is absorbed by it.

Wow, Emma, what a great opportunity! And you took full advantage of it and caught some incredible movement and poses from them. I really like the coloring of these and the b&w ones are wonderful. The whole set has an ethereal magic to it.

what an awesome opportunity!!!! Did you feel a little nervous? You've done a wonderful job with these. I imagine the light was tricky to work with. #8 is just perfectly composed and has gorgeous tone.

Em, it goes without saying you did incredibly well within the constraints of lighting and your camera's capabilities - what that shows is that you have an incredibly deep understanding of movement, which is what I noticed keenly in your previous dance posts... there's a predication there from you that you understand and know what the next move will be, so you're able to capture the moment so well, without blur and with such strong focus and composition... #5 is absolutely outstanding. xx
