It was Maddi's (my niece) 5th birthday yesterday and today was her party. It was an arts and crafts party, where the children painted tshirts and made little craft boxes. There seems to be so many more styles of parties for children now...I don't remember anything this exciting when I was younger - I think the most exciting I got to attend was seeing the talking tree at McDonalds*.
* 20+ years ago and never to return to the damn place ever again...
