I hadn't been to the
Birmingham Rag Market in about ten years, literally since I was at university. Its changed quite a lot as the whole area has since been redeveloped - I kind of miss the bohemian vibe of how it used to be, however most of the same stalls are still there. The Rag Market is between two other markets, the aptly named indoor food market, which amongst many other items' sells wonderful fresh fish and St Martins outdoor market.
As I had about 30 minutes to spare whilst I waited to attend the Kirov Ballet rehearsal last week (the market was about ten minutes walk away), I thought I would have a go at taking some shots down there.
