About 7000 Spanish republicans who was deported to the Nazi camp of Mauthausen only survived 2,000. Over 200,000 people were killed in this field.
My grandfather, a prisoner of war in Stalag XI-B (Fallingbostel), 27/01/1941 transferred to Mauthausen surviving on 05-05-1945.
He could never return to their country and died in Paris. I didn’t know him…
He fought for freedom against totalitarian regimes…
I wish that iran people arrive to win a democracy as us…
